Mike Gamble
Originally from Canada, Mike has 25 years professional experience in engineering management, product management, and large system design. With Atamo he has provided customers expertise in network management systems and in analysis of business issues from intellectual property through market strategy. He has worked on submarine and robotic controls, city transit systems and telecommunications. Mike's knack of finding ways to use standard IT products to enhance custom designed products significantly reduces product development and deployment costs.
Robert Deacon
Robert has worked with teams across the country and around the world in developing high reliability hardware for commercial deployment in the demanding public telecommunications field. Like other Atamo directors, he is equally comfortable with high level design, detailed implementation and with leadership of large teams. At Atamo Robert has completed a series of projects on behalf of government agencies in preparing for and applying new technologies, and held a key position on a national rollout of a safety-critical network.
Andrew Holmes
Andrew came from the UK, where he worked for Plessey Systems in early packet switching. His 30 years professional experience has been in systems design, project management, systems testing and customer support. Andrew guides our work in business process systems to track the performance of projects from development through manufacturing and logistics, to field reliability.
Peter Barrow
Peter is a native of Perth, with 20 years experience in developing embedded software for special purpose hardware. He has guided development teams operating in places from India, to France and Belgium. Peter combines his systems design and management capabilities with the hands-on approach needed for successful development of new products. In the early days he established Atamo's financial systems and planning.
Mark Callaghan
In 25 years of hardware engineering, Mark has distinguished himself by his understanding of the underlying physics of electronic designs. Mark's analytical skills are sought after when addressing a range of problems in other areas, and has provided technical feasibility assessments for numerous Atamo clients. He holds leading positions on Industry Advisory Panels for the Engineering Faculties at the University of Western Australia.
Stewart Snell
In 30 years of technical and business management, Stewart has held many senior management positions. He has skills in company development, business development, marketing, product management and engineering management, and has held directorships for companies operating in the US, China and Australia. He is an advisory board member of the Australian Telecommunications Research Institute at Curtin University of Technology.
