| Bushcomm website gets a facelift |
|
The Swan Valley, WA ![]() Atamo subsidiary Bushcomm has revamped its website, adding a 'wrapper' around the online shop. "This is a natural progression of both our ongoing process improvement programme", said Andrew Holmes, Bushcomm Operations Manager, "and increasing our efforts in identified market segments. We have always had sales in these areas; now we are making concerted efforts". The identified markets are: tactical (defence), humanitarian aid, emergency services, government/security, mining and primary industries, and recreational/amateur. "We are embarking on 'preferred supplier' status in the larger markets", continued Andrew, "and in many cases this means ISO 9001 accreditation. Atamo's management has done this before, and so we are now in a phase of collecting quality records." Bushcomm is releasing a number of new products, aimed at the tactical market and also handling new digital applications, where higher use of the bandwidth increases power requirements on radio antennas. Bushcomm's GM Mark Callaghan is in Brisbane this week attending the Land Warfare Conference to talk about the new products. |
